BodyBlows: Hey rock and good luck, anyway, hand down, can you beat sam peters?

HASIM_RAHMAN: Simply put, I think I could beat every heavyweight in the world.

kel_: champ what would you like us to remember you by ?

HASIM_RAHMAN: Just a guy that's going to give you what he got and someone whose capable of putting on a great performance whenever he's ready

C_Rice: Yo Rock, what was up with you and Roger Mayweather? Was he not living up to expectations or were there disagreements or what? The word was that you weren't training to their expectations.

HASIM_RAHMAN: It was no disagreements, we just agreed that we would be better off going our seperate ways.

THE_ROCK: hey rock, thanx for takin time for us tonight, after crushing barret , who are your next victims?, good luck on your bout with Monte

HASIM_RAHMAN: I'm just looking for Vitali Klitschko and then maybe the winner of the Peter-Klitschko fight or James Toney. I'm just looking for big fights, that's it.

Munajj: Hasim, if Owen Beck was able to hit Barett so much shouldn't this be an easy fight for you?

HASIM_RAHMAN: I'm sure he's not going to train for me the same way. If he stands in front of me like he stood in front of Owen Beck, you could catch the highlights on sportscenter.

boxfan: Hey Rock!!! You and Monte are good friends. Will this make it a little bit tougher to go all out on him?Because 2 friends are standing in the way of the others dreams.Or are you just gonna see him as another guy not a pal trying to take something from you?

HASIM_RAHMAN: Monte signed the contract first. I'm not going to try to do anything to Monte that he's not going to try to do to me. He wants to win this fight in impressive fashion and so do I. I'm going to impose my will.

Russianboxing: Hasim, you do any weight training? If yes, how often?Do you use any diet suppliments?

HASIM_RAHMAN: No diet suppliments. I do heavy weight training up until about four weeks before the fight.

HASIM_RAHMAN: Then I just go with the light weights to rip everything up.

KingSamPeter: I remember through Boxingtalk.com you were trash talking James Phoney" and after toney fought John Ruiz, in person you guys looked like yall had mutual respect for each other...what was that about???????"

HASIM_RAHMAN: I'm never one to rain on someone's parade. He had a good victory and I'm not a hater and I'm not going to knock the hustle, I just want to know when it's going to be my turn. We ain't going to get no money outside of the ring, I'm just trying to find out if we could fight

Mad_Vibes: Since Clit-show was forced to fight you or Barrett and he has said he will now fight the winner in November, what will your cut of the purse be if you beat Barrett? 35% or 45%? I am a fan of both you and Monte so I just hope the best man wins. Later Champ.

HASIM_RAHMAN: I think the WBC said 35%, so we'll see.

Jonny_Blaze: Rock, big fan here.i'm wonderin how would you beat klitchko after you knock barrett out??klichko is a very unique fighter..also,what kind of lifting do you do??do you bench??what else?

HASIM_RAHMAN: I do benching, back, thighs, I do everything. I work my legs and they're on another level right now, they're super strong. I have a great strength and conditioning coach, he makes sure everything is fine tuned and right now I'm ready to go.

HASIM_RAHMAN: I wouldn't allow Dr. Klitschko to stay on the outside. I would make him eat some leather and make him feel real uncomfortable in there.

SugarDusMosley: You've voiced your opinion on Kirk Johnson after his fight with Vitali by saying he looked like a fat pig, why do you think so many Vitali opponents come in overweight? and if you get by Barret will you avoid doing the same? what round you takin Barret in?

HASIM_RAHMAN: I'm taking Barrett out before the half way point. I think a lot people come in overweight as a built in excuse. I'm not going to have no excuses, I'm just going to come in to stop him.

Titlebelt: Hasim, If you could get any non-boxer in the ring, who would it be and why?

HASIM_RAHMAN: Lennox Lewis

Munajj: Champ...Is your primary weapon going to be the jab? Monte won't know what to do. You have the best jab in the division. Are you going to TORTURE him with the jab?

HASIM_RAHMAN: Obviously, I'm going to utilize my jab. I agree with you, I do have the best jab in the division, but that's just going to set everything else up

HASIM_RAHMAN: I'm going to be throwing 100 punches per round and when you got all those bombs coming at you, you're not going to be able to duck em all.

russian: Rahman, since Vitali has never ever been down ... what makes you think that you can actually put him out (since you have previously had a hard time with everyone.. including tomato cans)?

HASIM_RAHMAN: If I step up to the plate with my A game, I'm going to knock this man out. I don't have to put him down to stop him. Maybe he'll be a smart man and take the easy way out and quit on his stool like he did against Byrd.

HASIM_RAHMAN: I will win the fight and win it by stoppage and then you'll be able to add him to the list of tomato cans!

Sunny: What type of Amateur Career did you have Hasim Rahman? How many fights? What can you tell me about the amateur to professional transission?

HASIM_RAHMAN: I had ten amateur fights, won 7 lost 3. It wasn't much of a transition, I learned on the job as a pro. I've been learning on the job and I was in over my head from day one.

thehype: Boxingtalk would like to thank Hasim Rahman for taking time out to chat with us tonight

HASIM_RAHMAN: Tune in on August 13 you won't be disappointed, ya boy Rock is going to put on a show!
