Unbeaten heavyweight Dereck Chisora has sent a message to WBA heavyweight champion David Haye. Chisora faces WBO/IBO/IBF heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko on December 11 in Germany.
He was asked for his opinion on why he made a decision to fight a Klitschko, when Haye continues to turn down fights with both Klitschkos brothers. Haye will defend his title against Audley Harrison on November 13 in Manchester, a fight that Chisora called a joke in several interviews. Sometimes you have take a chance, Chisora said.
"If you're not fighting the best, you're short-changing yourself. I've worked hard to get where I am so quickly. I like to fight the best because I'm in the fighting game. I'm looking to entertain, I don't want to be fighting bums. If you're not fighting the best, you're short-changing yourself. If I'm gonna get beat - and so far I haven't - I want to get beaten by the best," Chisora said.
