Middleweight Andy Lee (34-2, 23 KOs) scored a sudden sixth round TKO over previously unbeaten Olympian Matt Korobov (24-1, 13 KOs) to claim the WBO middleweight belt formerly held by Peter Quillin, who relinquished the title rather than to face Korobov. The close fight ended abruptly after Lee rocked Korobov with a right hook and then got the stoppage from Kenny Bayless with a barrage of punches. Lee was behind on all three scorecards before the TKO win.

Another impressive performance for 2012 Olympian super lightweight Jose Ramirez (13-0, 10 KOs) who brutalized game Anthony Arellano (7-3-1, 3 KOs) and got the stoppage with ten seconds left in the scheduled six. Ramirez impressed as he mixed it up throughout the fight working behind the jab and following up with power punches getting inside breaking Arellano down.
